ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) -- Services for George L. Eberle, 51, of 201 W. Logan, Attica, who died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 18, 1976) in the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis will be at 10 p.m. Saturday in the Dale Maus Chapel. Mr. Eberle had been a patient for three weeks and in ill health for more than two years. The Rev. Melvin Nead will officiate. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens at West Lafayette. Friends will be received from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. EST today at the Dale Maus Funeral Home. Born Dec. 2, 1924, in Pine Village, he was the son of John and Mary Belle Fenters Eberle. Mr. Eberle had been a resident of Attica for over a year. He had formerly resided in Lafayette. He married Venus E. Kelley on Oct. 12, 1957, in St. Joseph, Mich. She died about five years ago. Mr. Eberle was a graduate of Pine Village High and had been a surveyor for the state of Indiana for over 20 years. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Pine Village Christian Church and VFW Post 3318 of Attica. Survivors include his father, John Eberle of Pine Village; two brothers, Ralph of Attica and James of Pine Village; and several nieces and nephews.  --waw
